Didn't that ginger biscuit have an unwanted effect?

That was a biscuit. It was too hard, so I couldn't digest it properly. Laughing A couple of slices of nice, soft, ginger sponge would be much better. applause1

I cut a thin slice. It wasn't quite cold and I think it does need to be left 24 hours.

So if Parcelmeece don't eat it, it should be ready by the time they deliver it

Perhaps it would be better if you used HerMeece.  Laughing

I've got a Jamaica ginger cake in the oven. It's for tomorrow but the recipe says it improves if it's kept 24 hours. It's got freshly-grated ginger root in it.

That sounds yummy Glenn !

I cut a thin slice tonight. If it gets better after a day it should be really good tomorrow. There's ground ginger and freshly-grated root ginger in it and I think the grated root ginger adds something extra.
